Real name: Sevket Erhat

Born: 9.7.1975, in Lefkosa North Cyprus

Location: Lefkosa, North Cyprus

Started collecting: September 2008 with Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots US Collector's Edition (this is because my game was lost in the post and arrived in two months)

Favorite Metal Gear game (to play): Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Favorite Metal Gear game (to collect): Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Favorite item: Art of Metal Gear Solid 1.5

Rarest item: MGS:Portable Ops Plus Promo

Estimated collection worth: around $500-750 I believe

Website(s): http://www.sdvd.20m.com (my DVD collection)

I remember reading (and anticipating) about Metal Gear Solid that was coming up on PSX in 1999 while I was doing my Finance Masters in University of Leicester UK. Gaming has not been the same after that.

As for collecting I felt the need to play more MGS after completing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the third time. Then I found JunkerHQ and the rest is history.

I am not after getting or keeping items sealed. My main focus is on MGS Promos and Demos. Then comes artwork books and Mc Farlane Toys.

I will try to collect as much as my taste and my pocket allows me to.

As for my hobies:
1-Videogames: Only love of my family can surpass my passion for videogames. I am playing them since the age of Sinclair ZX Spectrum + and has not stopped playing since.

My favourite game series are
1-Metal Gear Solid
2-Resident Evil
3-God of War
4-Gears of War
5-Devil May Cry
6-Resistance
7-Onimusha
8-Street Fighter
as you can see I am a big fan of Capcom as well.

2-Asian Action Cinema:
A friend of mine got me into watching "english dubbed" Jackie Chan films in the early 1990's and it was beginning of great action movies from the east period. Too bad they are no longer making movies like "The Killer", "Hard-Boiled"(My favourite movie of all time). I collect all asian action cinema pieces I can find and try to watch the good ones. You can find list of my movies from my website.

3-K-1: I love all martial arts and K-1 is the best platform in my opinion. The quality of fighters and therefore the matches has decreased obviously but I watch it none the less

4-MMA: I love MMA almost as much as I love K-1. I try to watch good events and make sure I don't miss any episodes of the great MMA show "Inside MMA"

5-Anime: Macross (known as Robotech in the west), Gundam are my favourite animes. I love Hokuto No-ken (Fist of the North Star) and Black Lagoon as well. It is not anime but I am following Transformers Animated and Wolverine and X-Men lately.

I too share a love of asian cinema. Especially HK action flicks. Police Story 1,2,3 and New Police Story are all fantastic.

The are much more grittier and intense than North American flicks, relying far less on pyrotechnics and special effects than raw emotion and actual down and dirty (rather than glorified) fight scenes.

I love HK slapstick comedy as well. I recommend Aces Go Places 1-5, they are just awesome.

I take it your pumped for SFIV as much as I am? :ugeek:

SFIV is not the most awaited game on my list but I'll surely grab it on day one

I'm hoping Capcom sticks in an insane unlockable character from another franchise. Chris Redfield would be the logical choice with RE5 coming up..maybe Dante though?...hmmm.....
